Hi folks, I managed to get a hold of the Corporation Dossier and I've got to say that I'm pretty impressed with it. I've only got one small niggle and that's about the vehicles on the lists. Will Mantic be releasing the listed vehicles in the very near future or, as seemed to be the core of the discussion in theunnamableone's thread here, will we have to use proxies for a while. Cheers

We've not heard anything about the release schedule for more vehicles but my guess would be would see a couple this year. Next week is Corporation week on the blog IIRC so that might shed some light.

The next Corporation release wave, whenever it happens will have to include vehicles.
The reasoning behind this is quite simple - all 4 of the infantry units are done, there are no gaps in the army list to fill as far as footslogger units go.
So, really, it's just a case of waiting for wave 2 of the Corporation, which I'd put good odds on appearing this year, especially if they sell well. Forgefathers have already got their wave 2 release, and will be getting a third wave (iron ancestor, surtr, expanded stormrage vets pack) in a few months.. you never have to wait long before a little something extra shows up for your army with Mantic.
I've decided to wait on seeing what Mantic makes for the vehicles. I was going to get the secret weapon 6x6, but then realised after reading a blog post that customs charges do apply, and end up making the models more expensive than GW ones at about £32/ model + shipping. Really nice model, but too rich for my tastes. Still a great option if you're in the US.
Old Crow stuff is good value, but I only really like the APC model, everything else is kinda lacking in detail.
So, I'm happy to stick with all-infantry for a while until Mantic gets something out. If you're using the Corporation as Imperial Guard, look into all-infantry army lists, they're apparently quite competitive as well as looking good on the table.

The audio of a couple of question and answer sessions with Ronnie at one of Mantics events late last year were recorded. It was broadcast in a gamer podcast... And I can't recall offhand which one it was. There have also been a couple of mentions here and there.
Anyway, Ronnie suggested that the first Corporation vehicle would likely be Hummer inspired. It was also mentionex that if Mantic did a tank, it would have to be resin, and unfortunately wouldn't be cheap. A release date before the end of 2012 was mentioned as a possibilty, but then again Ronnie has been known to include a bit of wishlisting in his past comments.
We'll have to wait and see.

I have an old Lemon Russ and Griffon that I am going to proxy as a Pulverizer and Blaster until they release something. (Have to build the griffon first!)

I hope vehicles will not be expensive when released and in that situation people will continue buying the GW ones.
