This is spoofing the fact that someone leaked a similar thing about 40k 6th Ed last week....

My guesses:
Art & Design: DKH3
Briefs: 8th race, Goblins, Humans
Army lists: Corp, 8th race
Concepting: 8th race
Blank: dunno, but possibly stuff for Mcvey to sculpt
Tooling: presumably a set that hasn't reached that stage yet

I enjoy that this was photoshop censored, rather then using an actual sharpie.

Nope, real sharpie used.

Which is good for us, since we can read through the censorship and get to the juicy details:

Quote
PROJECT BRIEFS

Forgefather [something - possibly Iron Ancestor]

[something] AC

RULES/ARMY LISTS

"WP August 2012"

CONCEPTING

Warpath [something]

"Abyssal Dwarfs complete by End Dec 2011"

"Veermyn model handover is due"

TOOLING

"Veermyn model Handover is due"

Yes, that's defitely "Veermyn", it's the clearest word on there, and appears on the document twice.

it looked like the smiley face was on a different plane when I was looking at the picture this morning. That might have been lack of sleep..

Did you seriously just photoshop through their deliberately hidden stuff?

Awesome for us, but I hope they don't mind. To be honest, I think some of the penned out stuff was because they're not 100% yet.
I'm guessing that Vermyn is the rats, which is good, as I have a whole army of them. However are they for KoW or Warpath? Either way I'm interested, but I would like to know...

Yes.  Grin

You don't even need photoshop to read most of it, just good eyesight.

That's very true.  Blowing up the image is enough on a lot of the lines.  Honestly, they should have Photoshopped out what they didn't want seen.

But then I wonder if it's *really* something we got away with, or if it was part of the marketing plan.  It could go either way.  Part of the charm of it all really.

I guess we know the eighth race now.  (Which makes even more sense, since in the GW world, the powers-that-be refuse to even discuss the ratmen, adding to their ability to multiply in secret.)

I think Rats in Space would be pretty cool though.  And not a bad idea for a horde-army to develop into KoW later.

Funny enough, I just received my order from Reaper of their new Space Mouselings and was thinking they'd be great to use as a Warpath army... If only they were more affordable.

Each figure also came with both a helmeted and a bare head. Something that I'd hope Mantic would do if they are doing Rats... in Space!!! Grin

My first assumption was that the Veermyn would be for KoW not Warpath, I don't really see the 'Rats in Space' thing personally. (Maybe I am biased, I want cheep Skaven...)

My first assumption was the opposite! I figured this would be the 8th race.

Are you suggesting the 8th race is actually called "The 8th Race"?
