Hi there.
I'm Bert. I've come over here from warseer, in part due to gaarew's recommendation of this place.
I'm not leaving warseer or anything, but I wanted a forum that was more mantic focused, as that tends to take up as much or more of my gaming time than warhammer and 40k does at this stage.
I'm sure people will figure out who I am eventually so I'll leave the rest for now.

There's more than a few Warseerians frequenting this fourm. No harm in staying active on both.
If you're who I think you are, any further word of the second podcast episode?

Hi Darsc,
yes it is indeed me.
The podcast is still fun to do, but we've had a few hurdles both in real life and directly related to the podcast to overcome.
Honestly, I'm glad we've had them before we committed to a schedule rather than afterwards.
On the down side I was hoping to get the second episode up today. I have finished the editing of the main chunk of the episode.
However I think Max still has a little bit of recording to do, and i have to put a few things in place in the edited show(along with writing up the show notes).
We are trying different formats for different parts of the the show because we feel that won't disrupt things if we try this stuff early on.
Doing post editing takes longer than most podcasts systems, but it means that we can increase our quality and trim out any issues caused by skype.
This would of course be improved by funding and equipment, but we can't have everything.
So yes, hopefully it'll be out soon. Definitely by the end of this week.

Hi Bert, and welcome. Looking forward to the next podcast as I really enjoyed the first one. I've started listening to Kent_Fury's podhammer series http://podhammer.net/ now that they've started talking about more than Warhammer and a lot more Mantic coverage. Still think you should call it 'Mantic Mayhem'  All the best JP |

This place is becoming more active than Warseer these days anyway, as far as mantic goes.
Good news IMO, since making a post over there is like treading on eggshells.

Hi guys. Firstly, JP1138. So close to the name of the show. We've called it Mantic Moments. You'll understand when you listen. Also, I am finding things weird over there, but then I do like some amount of moderation. Though to be honest, nicer the people, the less need for modding. Anyway, about the podcast. We finished it. We desperately need a place other than dropbox to host it, but a couple of things I was hoping for either haven't panned out, or people have been quite slow in sorting it with us. I personally don't want to set up a new website, so Max and I(well, mostly Max) are trying to figure out how we'll do this. Hey Bert If its mp3 I can host on my wordpress site (I think). I know I can play mp3 songs so it should work. We could try right?
