Well, here is a little terrain piece that I knocked out in a few hours.  Sadly, it is no longer part of my personal collection, as it currently resides in the warm confines of Mantic Towers.  I consider her worth the geek fame that involves.   Grin

I plan on doing a few more, as they were a piece of **** to do.

Hey there Smiley

Now that looks really cool!

Did you use rough coat spray or similar to texture it, and was it a 'pound shop' offering?

I may have to steal the idea please!!

It was a set of 3 for a fiver from the supermarket gardening promotion.  Actually, it the promo was finished, so they were only £2.50   Grin

MDF base, pathway is vinyl flooring, stone pattern with the 'grout' cut out with a stanley knife.  Rocky area is a broken up cork placemat.  The fairy statue was distress by putting it in a plastic bag and hitting it with a hammer!

It is just sprayed standard black primer.  I glued a few patches of sand here and there on it, plus, as I was doing it pretty quickly, I reckon some might have escaped the base under furious drybrushing....

Cool Cheesy

I really do like it! I'll be off to my local 'cheap shop' to grap some!

That is rather effective. It's amazing what you can find in cheap shops.

Mrs H has loads of those dotted about the house. I'm pretty sure she'd miss one if I did that though.

But if one of them suffered an "accident", surely she couldn't begrudge you making some use out of it rather than throwing it into the trash. Roll Eyes

Hahahaha the only way one of them could suffer such an "accident" is if I was to do any dusting and she'd never believe that.  Cheesy
