I have a GW Dwarf army and I plan to not play WFB again, so it would seem sensible to glue them down to movement trays. Given that we don't remove models when they "die" are any of you fine folks permanently mounting your figures to movement stands?

For my Elves, Dwarfs and Undead I've mounted them in 5 man strips. They store easier than as a whole regiment and I actually paint them on that strip which speeds up the process for me.
I think, however, when I come to do my Orcs (and other additions to Elf/Undead/Dwarfs) I'll paint them individually and put them on movement trays so that I can use them in DKH, hoping for a larger rpg type dungeon crawl in a few years.

I use 40mm x 100mm mdf bases. Makes ranking up units easier

Up to now I've been using a heavy double sided tape to adhere the models to my trays. That stuff has a ferocious grip, but if you struggle enough you can remove the models. But my recent human models are being glued to their trays. I think Kings of War will be around a long time, easily long enough to make it worth doing:)
