Anyone else hear the words "already sculpted" on Ronnie's latest video, when mentioning the Goblins (or more specifically the "next race").

This is good to know, looks like we definitely might end up with the Feb 2012 release date for these.

Also wondering if they will get a sci-fi sprue to turn them into marauder runts.. I think that'd be a great idea.

I did indeed. I am a little consfused though as I thought that TK were the next race to be getting models (or was Ronnie meaning after TK? I;m probably being a bit slow xp).
And good idea for the warpath upgrade sprue.

Ronnie seemed to forget about the twilight kin.

I heard words along the lines that the 6th army were on the sculpting table for a release early next year, but I'm sure he was meaning the 7th army (goblins).

Right well I am now completely confused. Haven't the TK hybrid kits been seen and photos are somewhere on the interwebz?

There are pictures on the TK in the new rulebook and we saw painted ones in the cabinet at the open day. Some people were also able to pick up TK armies at the open day too.

So will goblins really be all metal?

Bit of a disappointment if that is true.

Soo anyone heard anything more about goblin models and release dates? Their list looks pretty interesting.

From the last issue of the Mantic Journal:

"Early in 2012 you'll be able to add units of these horrors to your armies of Orcs, as we're releasing a 10-man metal box set of Goblins with spears."

That does make it sound less likely that a whole armies worth of Goblins are planned for release. At least in the immediate future they sound more like a unit to add on to the orcs.

Too bad, cause even in Mantics colour text which precedes the above quote, it's stated that:
"Smaller, meaner, and altogether more numerous than Orcs..."

Knowing how many Mantic plastic and restic Orcs I already have, there's no way Mantic Goblins will be outnumbering them in my army anytime soon if all I have to work with is the one release of metal Goblin spearmen. Undecided

It is a shame about the Goblins being metal but if they are anything like the artwork in the journal, they will be nice little models!  But there are a lot of nice metal Goblins out there at the moment!

Ah cheers Darsc. Ever so slightly dissapointed that it is just spear goblins coming. The list looks pretty good and I have been trying to think what models to use. Guess there is the GW goblins or their LoTR gobs.
