Here's my first entry...a converted troop of Heavy Ironwatch.  (No, there are no rules for them.  Not officially. But in my head they're glorious!)

My painting style is getting a bit blockier, and my modelling is half-assed as always.  (I love the idea of converting things, but hate the actual work of it.)  These are designed to be viewed from distance on the tabletop as the closeup of the trooper will clearly show.

I think those are some great conversions, very characterful and some great poses.

Liking those conversions, Ironwatch can tend to look a bit boring due to the limited poses, but those are great!

Good stuff Llew.  I especially like the one in the second rank holding his upturned shield and rifle.

Also, you are a brave man choosing white as an army colour.   Grin

I love these, that's a very high grade of 'Table Top' painting in my opinion. Love the shield work as always.

Using the flat top of the knight shields to make mini-pavisses (is that the word for stationary missile troop shields?) is pretty brilliant I think.

Really exciting to see your work!

Thanks, guys.  Smiley

And I'm not as bold as you think -- it's just an overexposed photo.  I'ts a light gray theme.  (Think Khador's red and gray scheme in Warmachine.)
