Right, so I persuaded Chunky to swing by the other night to help put down the flooring in my lair, and he brought over his Twilight Kin from the Open Day so that I could get a look at them and we could work out what his army would be.

Contents -

Twilight Kin Sorceress

Twilight Kin Spear Regiment (Elf Troop and Command sprue, 20 metal spear arms, 20 metal cloaks, metal heads)

Twilight Kin Crossbow Regiment (10 Elf Scout sprues, 20 metal crossbows, 20 metal cloaks, metal heads)

Twilight Kin Crossbow Troop (5 Elf Scout sprues, 10 metal crossbows, 10 metal cloaks, metal heads)

Twilight Kin Scout Troop (5 Elf Scout sprues, 10 metal crossbows, 10 metal cloaks, metal heads)

Twilight Kin Bolt Thrower & Crew (Elf bolthrower kit, plus 2 metal heads, cloaks and a metal bolt throwing bit)

I'll get him to bring them round again so that we can get some pics.

Pictures!

Next year, give me a shout if anything like this is up for grabs, I'll buy it and get pics up on the net super-quick.

Good to see that they all come with cloaks, I think having a cloak on the back really improves the elf models since it makes their silhouette look less spindly.

Do the metals for the crossbow and scouts troops differ much?

IIRC, the Scouts get a one handed version, so that they also carry a sword/dagger, and the Crossbowmen get a two handed version, or the one handed version plus shield arm.

Not 100& though.

Aye, I managed to get a look through some of his box on the openday as he was nice enough to let me.

Its a nice looking set, though I will be eager to see what the bolt thrower looks like, though I must say I am not a big fan of cloaks on minis though (you would never wear one into battle its a death trap! they may look nice but are so unpracticle to fight in.)

looking forward to piccys   Smiley
