And here we go again. Update on the FoW stuff i built last night: I hope you can see it, but the camo cloaks on the snipers are a mauve brown made by mixing the baseing color with chaos black.

ok all a slurry of shots to show you this fine thursday. First we have my paint test of the selik'jaha infantry with his veritas companions. Then we have him by himself, and finally more FoW have been built! As it is a paint test model, comments and crit most welcome on the selik'jaha infantry.

Hey Marcus, Nice paints! Historically ignorant as I am I do not know what a Selik'Jaha is. Are they descended from Seljuk Turks? (Runs as real historians throw books). Flames of War is doing fairly well over here at one store, not played at all at the other. Are you enjoying it a lot? I know that some of the reason you're playing it is your University Club plays it exclusively?

Selik jaha is one of my creations for my army background, but your spot on for the reference Gerry. Thanks for the comment
As for FoW, its interesting. I can't say it's as good as a fantasy game, but I like it.

Update: 1rst of the soul-bound desert orcs: Finally got that 5 man fire team of albians fully painted. They were bugging me: Some bases I got as a door prize for competing in a painting competition: They are industrial. Going to use them for my zombie to servitor conversions.

Nice desert orc Lord Marcus! The bronze armor looks good, gives a wildlly different feel to the model! The Albians look very nice, pleasing to look at though I don't know their history (shamefully ignorant about post medieval history here)

Thanks Gerry.
The "Albians" are a made up subfaction for my larger faction, the "Brotherhood" which i am using the "rebs" list to organize around. Since the list has not yet been released, the plan is to just build and paint the models.
The mini's themselves are peninsular war center company British infantry from Victrix.

Picture of a new use i have found for the persian models, using them in my KoW evil/neutral alliance as men. The mistakes seen in this picture have since been corrected.

Ah, nice! I expect to see a lot of historical and fantasy models in Reb armies, the fluff makes it sound natural and even perhaps commonplace for the Rebs to 'rescue' native planets.
Your Wargames Factory Persians look nice! I have some, I want to use them as Crusades Muslims, do you think they are close enough? The 300 Spartans must've been a long time before 11th century.... But they are perfect for desert cultists, nice Lord Marcus!

I do belive they could be used as conscripted muslim troops, but not much more than that. Saracen equipment varied wildly.
Speaking of which, and bitz you don't need? we can do some trading.

Nice Marcus, your desert raiders and orcs are a fabulous addition to your Desert Power undead hordes! Your Berzerker-Cyborg is really nice, the pose and the equipment you chose for the arms work really well together!
