Figure this might be of interest to the Fanatics since Beasts of War have occassionaly featured Mantic in their past YouTube videos.

According to his facebook comment, Warren of BoW is still waiting to hear what the exact reason was for BoW being pulled from YouTube. They have some videos on Justin TV, something my iPhone can't view. I'm hoping this is resolved soon so that I won't miss any upcoming Mantic news.

How odd. Do BoW pay to have their videos hosted as they are usually pretty long?
Maybe youtube is turning greedtube?

Apparently Youtube has said something about "willful and flagrant" violations or something.

It may have to do with sponsorship issues or some confusion there.  *Or* it could be a C&D from someone claiming copyright infringement.  Youtube will pull first, and sort it out later in those instances.

Willful and flagrant? I can't think of a single thing that would fit into this category that BoW has done. It's too bad, BoW is probably the most entertaining channel about miniwargaming on youtube.

On the plus side, they still have a pretty good website, and the JustinTV webcast is pretty serviceable.

Sorry for the threadnomancy, but I was just wondering whether we ever found out why they got their video's taken down?

While I totally believe you SS, I'd actually be interested in reading the details about this. I honestly didn't know that this was the reason that they were taken off youtube.

I literally can not understand why GW could have taken them off legally. As far as I can tell they were not showing anything illegal, as reviewing products is totally legal.
This makes me a little worried about our podcast, as what happens if we want to talk about a GW thing during an overall discussion?

BoW did a turn 8 on the matter and I dont think they ever found out, my guess is it was around the time they were doing some vids on cutlass and there was a vid where 'Cap'n Dave Mustaine' talked about hit tri-sexual pet parrot Berriteeeee'. maybe that goes against T&C on youtube?

I really can't remember where I heard it, it was ages ago, and neither can I vouch for the authenticity of the statement.

I just kinda believed it and moved on since it sounded like something that GW would do.
