Yeah, I thought the company was dead too.. turns out it's still around, but I seriously don't see it lasting.*

Saw this and will be adding it to my next order. I have no interest in the game*, but that is a nice couple of generic 28mm stone throwers.

Material is good old hard plastic sprues, too.. I checked because the human figures it comes with have really soft detail and I wanted to make sure it wasn't pre-painted muck or similar.

Could be usable for either dwarfs or goblins if using a mantic army to play warhammer, just add a few models for crew.

* See this review for why, it's a digitally-enhanced wargame with built-in DRM to stop you from buying or selling second-hand models. Also, you don't roll dice, there aren't any unit stats, computer does everything: http://www.tabletopbattlefield.com/ExIllis_Review

The stone throwers look good, but the crew are too mannequinesc for my tastes.

I'd heard some former employees were trying to resurrect this company. Don't have any interest in playing their game myself.

Yeah, the crew are bad. The stone throwers and maybe their game board are the only 2 things I have any interest in.

Game board has 9" squares which could be good for compact display boards.. I'm also considering them as a mordheim board since a lot of the tiles have flagstones on them.

I think the Archangels are pretty nice models

It is just a shame their gaming board is odd dimensions or I would have bought a couple...
