to Darsc, who has just taken the step from Global Moderator to Admin. Still, as we aren't in the habit of banning or warning anyone (that isn't an invite...) it is more of a sideways step than any added workload. At the moment. He does however get his handle in red, rather than blue. Which is worth the move alone.  So, I hope you'll all join me in saying a big thank you to D, for all his hard work on the news and rumour roundup, and I'm sure he'll be kept busy over the next few months. And yes, I suppose it does mean that we may be looking for some Moderators, for when the site really fills up in November (I'm guessing.) |

Thanks, all! I can only say that I hope to be the epitome of a fan-site administrator. I plan on using my considerable administrative powers with great care and deliberation. Before I do anything, I'll be sure to ask, "Is this the right action to take? Is that what I think gaarew would do in this situation? And more importantly, will this action demonstrate that I am almost completely unbeholden to any other powers? Will it show that I am clearly above all other posters and I should be respected, feared and, of course, kow-towed to by any who wish to participate on these boards free from harrassment?"
I see this as the first small step on my long road towards Benevolent Dictatorship of the World. So many red X's, so little time.
