there is something about enslaving a spirit and forcing it back into its original place thats fun.

I think you are confusing Necromancy with something else.  Necrophilia perhaps?   Tongue

Hey guys, I know the irony of posting here now, despite what the last few posts were about. But, hey I've only been on this forum for a little while.

Personally, despite it being grand on the forums, I think that p*nis and p*ssy jokes all around may not be the best way to go forward.

It's grand having it and all, but I thought that the point was to be more free with humour generally, while talking all things mantic, rather than using crude humour all the time (which does have it's place, but not always) while kind of talking mantic.

I'm not sure if I've explained my position correctly (har har) but I think you get what i mean. Perhaps lighter humour when we advertise ourselves, so as not to put some people off?

I think I get what your saying, and if I get you right then I agree.

Having rude jokes is great fun in a sig, but might not be suitable on official forum banners or advertising. Is that the jist of it?

Leaving it down to personal choice.

It was something I kept in mind, and I toned down the dwarf mastiff one to give people a "clean" option to use. It originally read "Toss me! don't tell the elf", as a more direct LotR reference.. a quote which became popular in the first place due to it being one of the many unintentionally homoerotic scenes in the LotR movies.

We had a bunch of people join from dakka after a bunch of us added the sigs, so they have been effective to some extent, and I think they at least get across the overall tone of this place... just be glad I didn't... err... do an undead one. >_>
