I realize this sentiment may be unpopular, but I was happy with with V2 of the rules (easy as I play Elves and Orcs, which have good artillery and no artillery respectively). I am sympathetic to those who don't understand 1) the huge regen nerf with no corresponding point reduction and 2) how elven artillery (particularly TK) has gone from being pretty good value for cost to being far outshone by the Undead catapaults point-for-point.

I'd really just like them to send out an email with a download link to the current .pdf of the rulebook to all the kickstarter backers who are entitled to it (which I imagine is most of them). I don't care how big the file is. I want to see the new rules and there are no shipping costs to send out a .pdf of the same rules that are already in some people's homes. Is it a bandwidth issue?

To be fair to the whining gits, Mantic announced a release date of June 25th which has long since passed. I don't understand why we can't see the new army lists when most of the pathfinders have copies of them.

So... we're whining about how much we hate whining?

It's worth noting that the Ogres are actually part of the "Kingdoms of Men" army, so going for the celestians means you'll have two human-based armies.

The undead and orcs are my personal favorites for model quality, and orcs are quite fun to play in KoW. I have no experience playing Undead.

There are a load of reaper minis I have wanted to pick up for some time but haven't because of the price. Unfortunately, none of them are currently in the Bones line.

At least one important feature likely missing from the official mantic forums: announcements of sales of mantic figures.

I don't think the current wording needs tightening up... you're still only allowed one turn/pivot during a charge. You could never go around five buildings and a wall to reach your target unless that only involved one pivot of < 90^o.

I haven't had a chance to play KoW since before the new lists came out. What does the community think the current metagame is like? Are there some broken units / broken armies? I know elves used to be viewed as pretty strong.

WGF's shock troopers are much more "budget" than GW's though, which are roughly twice the price.  Or you could wait for Prince August/Target Games to have a sale and buy 160 of these guys http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/tg2420-1.html for $45 like I did.

Now I desperately need Mantic to release Corporation models so I can have a little variety, some heroes and vehicles, etc.
