If you're going to do a wash on the face don't use too much and once you've painted it on dry the model upside down. It helps stops the 'pooling' effect that sometimes happens.

I'm new to the Mantic; and in particular the Warpath game systems; but, I watched The Chronicles of Rid**** for the umpteenth time last night and thought that an race along the lines of the Necromongers would be great. Don't need to be human as in the film but would provide a great subplot to the Warpath Universe.

I managed to get a hold of the Corporation Dossier and I've got to say that I'm pretty impressed with it. I've only got one small niggle and that's about the vehicles on the lists. Will Mantic be releasing the listed vehicles in the very near future or, as seemed to be the core of the discussion in theunnamableone's thread here, will we have to use proxies for a while.

I'll certainly look up the newsletter and I will be looking to play. Had a good read at the rules and they seem straightforward enough, so once I do take the plunge I'll be looking for somewhere to play. I'm looking forward to seeing the models in the 'flesh' and getting my paint brushes out in anger. I've been aware of Mantic for a while but as I was never really into WFB the fantasy ranges never interested me.

Steam punk Sci Fi on the other hand? Now that floats my boat.

And thanks for the welcome. I'm a 40k player at the moment and have been for a long time. Unfortunately it's becoming harder to justify spending money on the models.
