Paint job does look kinda 80's in colouring, but I must admit, it does break the monotony of all your armiy's Balefires looking exactly the same! How much is it?

I'm surprised at you guys!! I couldn't wait to get mine out and start painting them!! (although I did go for a rather unimaginative "Blood Knight" look)

and i'm too impatient- that's why I can't wait for the Soul Reaver rules! If 5 of them can stand up to a Gore Rider charge and still stand at the end of it, then I'll be happy!! But what are the chances of that happening???

Just realised, it's awfully remiss of me not to have introduced myself!

The name's Pete, been playing these types of games since late 80's, worked for GW briefly (got out cos I saw how the wind was blowing) then someone introduced me to Mantic.

Currently collecting Undead for KoW, but also have 4k of Skaven and nearly that for WoC, 2k High Elves, and have also had dealings with Empire, Lizards, Beastmen, Daemons, Wood Elves, Dwarves and VC's.

Looking forward to Warpath anad planning on a Marauder/Reb Alliance. other sci fi armies include Space Wolves, Dark Eldar, Blood Angels and Mobile Infantry (for Starship Troopers- awesome game, if you never came across it!)

Was at the last Open Day, with my twins (probably people remember the twins more than me!) but I had my jacket with the BPRD logo patch on the arm.

I think that covers everything, but feel free to ask questions!!

Oh btw, when I left GW, I set up and run my own miniature painting studio, Asgard Studio- have recently taken on first employee, and currently considering a third painter!

Hey guys- just wondering, what are people using as rules for Soul Reavers? I used mine for the first time on Sunday, but just as Revvie Cav (where they got munched straight away by Gore Riders!)

Wraiths are a must have for my Undead. I've played with and against them.

With them, I as so many of you do, run them down flanks- or even stright up the middle shielding them behind more stable units, until their 20" charge and Fly ability get's them knocking out war machines and enemy characters.

Playing aginst them, (I was using Elves) I found myself all too aware of their dangerousness- and may well have spent a bit too much attention on them (for very little payback cos of that 6+ Def)- the upshot is I pretty much got wiped out by two units of 5x Wraiths, Mhorgoth and the Balefire Catapult(!)

My opinion? Wraiths rock! and they will always feature in my Vampire army!

I so far only have a regiment of Skellies, but they have spears- and the UGR's are invaluable, especially as a unit that normally wouldn't survive the game is still around at relatively full strength. I honsetly don't think I would leave home without them, but then, I wouldn't have any other Skellies than Spearmen, so....

Getifa, just try playing a game.... then you'll see why UGR's are so awesome!!

Hey guys! I bet the list would be great, but can anyone slap it into pdf form, cos the downloads all keep flinging it into WordPad on my pc which is terrible for actually reading and playing from?
