Post by: gaarew on July 28, 2011, 05:05:58 pm Well, it seems that Mantic are planning to retire their official site and replace it with something a bit more user friendly (especially when posting pictures is concerned :P ) I wonder where they got that idea?
Anyway, they are looking for Moderators to take up positions - Forum Moderators The website will be getting a new forum (huzzah we hear you all cry) and we’re looking for volunteers to moderate it. We’re really thrilled to be introducing this new forum as part of our ongoing update of the site, and if you’re interested in putting your name down, send us an email with your name and why you think you should be a mod at info@manticgames.com with “Mantic Forum Moderator” as the subject. We’ll then put you on the list and will get back to you when we’ve decided. Also wanted are Demo Teams - Demo Teams We looking for people to go out to clubs, stores and events to demo Kings of War, Dwarf King's Hold, Warpath and generally spread the good word of Mantic. As much as we'd like too, we can't be everywhere, so if you're interested in picking up the Mantic standard and flying the flag for us, drop us an email at info@manticgames.com and discuss what's involved! Photographers - Do you have a passion for cameras and a penchant for miniatures? Then we’re looking for you! We are after cool battle shots and fantastic, cinematic scenes using our miniatures. This role would be good for photography students looking to diversify or add to their portfolio, or for people who are really good with cameras and like messing around with miniatures! We’re looking to borrow some great sci-fi urban battle, city fight terrain for our Marauders and Forge Fathers to battle over. The scenery will be used in our battle shot photography. How did I just see this now? I've been pushing mantic stuff at my club for a while now. Any chance it's still worth messaging them? Also the photography thing also looks interesting. But it's a very slow moving ball, and a few people may have lost interest and/or the ability to participate. Might as well see if they have any openings. |
